Call for Nominations – 2027 AAD Annual Meeting Registration Scholarship Opening May 6, 2026

Dear Colleague:

On behalf of the International Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), I am pleased to invite your society to participate in the 2027 AAD Annual Meeting Registration Scholarship program by nominating two qualified candidates. The nomination form will open on May 6, 2026, at 12 AM CST.

This scholarship is offered to board-certified dermatologists from countries outside the United States and Canada to attend the 2027 AAD Annual Meeting held in San Francisco, California March 19-23, 2027.

Annual Meeting Registration Scholarship Award

• *    Complimentary non-member registration to attend the AAD Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California, March 19-23, 2027
• *    Invitation to the International Scholarship Recipient Reception and Dinner held the Thursday evening of March 18, 2027.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• *    Nominees must be submitted by their National Dermatological Society . Self-nominations will not be accepted.
• • • *    Society officers must submit an online form and a signed letter of endorsement for each nominee (maximum of two applicants per country). If no national society exists in your country, a nomination and letter of endorsement from the nominee’s current director will be accepted for review.

• *    Nominees must be board-certified dermatologists.
• *    Nominees are not eligible if they have previously received an in-person AAD Scholarship.
• *    Nominees must be submitted via the nomination link below. Email nominations will not be accepted.

Officers of national dermatologic societies should submit a nomination form for each nominee at: https://aad.secure-platform.com/a/solicitations/1408/home. This form will open on May 6, 2026 at 12:00 AM CST.

• *    You must have an AAD account to complete the form.
• *    If your society does not have an account, you can create a new non-member account to access the form.
• *    Self-nominations are not accepted.
• *    Email submissions will not be considered —all nominations must be submitted through the link above.

Deadline: All nominations for the 2027 meeting must be submitted by July 31, 2026 .
